What’s that you say…..you’re looking for a easy meal to fix in your crockpot so that you can get supper on the table in 30 minutes tonight? Mike Larsen from our agency in Pierre has the perfect recipe for you. It’s a little sweet, a bit spicy and oh so good! For a healthy side dish, serve a lettuce salad topped with fresh veggies.
A 4 pound bag of your favorite frozen meatballs (found in the freezer section at your grocery store)
3 12-ounce bottles of chili sauce
1 32-ounce container of grape jelly
1/2 cup Worcheshire sauce
1/2 TSP ground pepper
1 green pepper, chopped
1 can pineapple chunks, drained
Put meatballs, chili sauce, grape jelly, Worcheshire sauce and ground black pepper into crockpot. Turn to high and cook for 3 hours. Add green pepper and pineapple. Cook for an additional hour. Serve and enjoy!
